Until May 30, we find Philippe Aubry works on the walls of the chapel of the Hôtel de Ville de Vesoul. Old works as well as new productions in formats different patterns of high-Saônoises painter, especially with a relatively large triptych in the lobby area.
subjects, meanwhile, remain in the same vein: Land, sea, wind and plant matter, a result almost unbridled abstract impression - or rather an expression - of nature, sea spray, current .. .
graphic inks come in sort of Chinese signs, representations of hidden messages, omens, or single figures sitting beside a river. The lines undulate, turn into spots, puddles in the strong colors that fade away, fluid, transparent .... Of dry reeds in the green, algae, splashing and fishing birds, we imagine an elsewhere, undefined, both tormented and relaxing, like so many promising visions of renewal.
