EDITORIAL - THE POETRY AS THE WINE -
"Today the poets read in public. Why they take the train, seized a microphone, read aloud, seeking musicians. Improvisers, the lads of a singular type, mid-mid-dowsers virtuosos. Researchers from sounds and meanings. All this is a funny work, and a reflection on the reading public, and the relationship of writing to speech. Must read up? Sitting? Smooth? Strength? Should we curb the violence? Should we refuse to be seduced? Read a block? Or otherwise vary the records? And what about his body? Hands? Eyes? Poetry Can do without the body? Hesitation? Should we explain? Or especially not explain anything? Salute? Flee before the applause? Back to answer questions? Sell some books? And look at all this as a final testing of the text? Or more simply put to the test of the poet? All these questions and many others, facing one who, out of the silence of writing, confronts the silence uncertain, unpredictable, sometimes all relative, sometimes beautiful, with an audience. "Said the poet Patrick Dubost.
Poetry is her extraordinary book. Everywhere in the vineyards on the square market, the baker, the tobacconist, in Jurançon elsewhere. All this is a matter of structure, poor appetite, mouth business. Like wine. Poetry is at home anywhere people are talking. Its premises are to be built. Always. We need arms. Come on. In September Jurançon
