An artist in residence at the College of Noidans-les-Vesoul
The second week of residence at the College ends for Anne-Valerie Dupond. During these two weeks (there will be a third in June), the artist will have hosted bisontine students and their teachers in the workshop it was temporarily converted into one of the rooms on the ground floor . Belle initiative Raphael Sanchez, a teacher in Fine Arts that make students enjoy the daily presence of an artist.
the middle of a heap of rags, Anne-Valerie Dupond sews. She sculpts textiles, shapes figures with fabric, old clothes, padding it suture then in hand, more or less roughly, in a kind of ritual, both maternal and frankensteinien.
In the workshop, students posed questions and testing techniques, to try their hand joints .... The artist would like especially to convey the idea of "doing with the means at hand, find their own solutions. There is no method."
The "objects of affection" as a result of this artistic craft in the form of human or animal figures, statues, pin-ups, where busts Gender confusion is palpable, between a practice and a material rather feminine and more masculine attributes such as trophy hunting or memorial for example. An atypical universe, responsible for the artist's personal history, diverse influences, like Annette Messager and Louise Bourgeois, and especially this desire, or need, to design artistic objects with these fabrics worn, charged with intimate, ready to be thrown away, thus giving them a second life.

Yves Chaudouët not refrain nothing. A great guide his artistic freedom. Artist, he is also author, director and much more ... At Granite, This particular artist, along with his exhibition, a play he wrote and directed, Conference Concertante.
He has made his studio gallery in the Granite of the moment. Chairs, easel, paint ... a living workshop, a project, an adventure in the making .. He creates portraits in which the faces are written as and when the sittings. Each time a new vision takes shape, layers of life emerge, plans are advancing, retreating further ...
In the exhibition, the objects are on hold, literally and figuratively. Raised on legs, glass tables and chairs floating a few inches of soil, as they are in transit, fragile, as is our perception of things evolving.
A curious look at the world allows the artist to emerge from the shadow stories, gestures, lights ... Questions, doubts expressed directly on the canvas or paper with words written evidence of this desire to cross practices. And then there's a kind of confidence, confidence in the future of things, the transport capacity of the experiment, the permeability of the creative process ...

Imagine Doutreleau researcher, magician or a mad scientist .... One imagines his swing colored powders into a liquid with unknown powers, leaving emulsify mixtures on the support, guiding fluids ... Abstract, his paintings keeps an intense bond with the chaotic nature of which it is derived. Eruptions of light shades and bright plumes were grafted pigment flamboyant splashing the dark masses and stable surface structure. Some footprints mark the material boiling. At the center of the room, a sculpture of burnt wood ... Branches black and sooty tend toward the sky, the vestiges of the flames, witnesses passions ...

Until May 30, we find Philippe Aubry works on the walls of the chapel of the Hôtel de Ville de Vesoul. Old works as well as new productions in formats different patterns of high-Saônoises painter, especially with a relatively large triptych in the lobby area.
subjects, meanwhile, remain in the same vein: Land, sea, wind and plant matter, a result almost unbridled abstract impression - or rather an expression - of nature, sea spray, current .. .
graphic inks come in sort of Chinese signs, representations of hidden messages, omens, or single figures sitting beside a river. The lines undulate, turn into spots, puddles in the strong colors that fade away, fluid, transparent .... Of dry reeds in the green, algae, splashing and fishing birds, we imagine an elsewhere, undefined, both tormented and relaxing, like so many promising visions of renewal.
